Depart Kampala in the morning after breakfast and go through Uganda’s beautiful green countryside. Watch out for the Equator en-route as well as plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits. Stop over at Regency Hotel Mbarara for lunch . After lunch travel to the Queen Elizabeth National Park, spotting game en-route more especially the Chimpanzees that “criss- cross the road as you drive on. Arrive in the afternoon at Mweya Safari Lodge or Jacana lodge. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
After an early Breakfast we’ll go for a morning game drive in the Park. Expect to see the famous Big Five; Elephant, Buffalos, Lions, Bush bucks, Kobs, Giant forest hog, Hyenas and Waterbucks.
In the after noon we’ll take a launch cruise along the amazing Kazinga channel and you will appreciate the scores of Hippos, Buffalos, Crocodiles close to the waterside as well as the rare Leopard prowling. There is a variety of bird species especially the famous Shoebill, pelican and Jacana. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast visit the fascinating Queen Elizabeth’s scenic crater lakes area, mirror-surfaced and tranquil, each has its own individual character providing a home for a myriad of creatures.

In the afternoon tour around the diverse local habitats and take a walk in the Maramagambo forest where we’ll spot Chimpanzees and Monkeys. We’ll visit the Kyambura Gorge and enjoy the playful Chimps as they toss about and a variety of other primates and birds. Visit the bat caves and watch out for the outstanding extraordinary Blue Lake.

After breakfast, the next journey is driving to pelican point over looking Lake Edward. There is a sensational high degree view and on the good climate be sure to see the legendary “mountains of the moon” In the afternoon visit Lake Katwe and get to see the salt works and Flamingo Lake. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Drive back after Breakfast to Kampala via Mbarara.
