4 days Luxury Gorilla trekking Safari Bwindi

Our 4 days Gorilla trekking flying Safari Bwindi, There is no better way to have the scenic view of Uganda’s lush vegetation and wildlife of Uganda than flying. Penetrate the impenetrable Bwindi forest by air. The view from above is simply amazing. Other than the usual road trip, just fly in and track the mountain Gorillas in Bwindi, Rushaga area or Nkuringo. Flying to track the gorillas just got better with daily and convenient departures.

Day1: Arrival
Arrive at Entebbe international Airport and meet your local Shoebill Guide and transfer to your hotel. (5-15 minutes). Overnight at the Boma guest House.

Day2: flying Safari Entebbe – Bwindi Forest NP-Forest Walk
Wakeup to melodious calls of various bird species around the guest house. If you are a keen birder you will record several bird species around the guest house. Early breakfast and transfer to Entebbe International Airport for a domestic flight to Western Uganda, departing at 07.45 hr to Kihihi Airstrip. (Expected time of arrival is at 09.30 hr). Meet your guide and transfer by road to your lodge located just within the forest.

Lunch, relax and enjoy the cool breeze from the forest. Several calls of bird species fill the air to welcome you. Afternoon go for a guided forest walk for a first introduction with Uganda’s unique flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs. (B-L-D)

Day3: Gorilla tracking Bwindi
After a rather early breakfast, transfer to the Park Offices for the highlight of your safari, a memorable encounter with the Gentle Forest Giants!
At this stage you will be allocated a gorilla family in groups of 8 as well and gorilla tracking guides/rangers. Basically here you are given information about gorillas, appropriate precautions and generally the impenetrable forest. Expect to walk between 2 and 8 hours in steep and sometimes muddy conditions with rain overhead, which can be tough and require some kind of fitness. However you will not remember all these after you have come face to face with a Mountain Gorilla silverback. It is simply worth the trek.

Once you are with the gorilla family, you will spend approximately one hour with them as they go about their daily life; feeding, moving, playing, raising their young and sometimes wrestling by the juveniles, typical of any family setting. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs. (B-L-D)

Day4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park – Entebbe
Departure Breakfast and Depart back To Entebbe International Airport. Departure is at 09:45am arriving at 11:25am in time enough for your connection international flight back home (B)
